Travel advice for Buenos Aires EZE

Sat Dec 01, 2018 10:19 pm

In January I am flying to Buenos Aires Ezeiza airport for the first time. I will also depart EZE for SCL using Sky Airline of Chile. Simple question really. How calm or hectic is the baggage claim likely to be for a late morning arrival? And how far in advance should I get to the airport for my departure to SCL? For what it's worth, I paid Sky $6 for Priority Check in. Seemed reasonable to avoid chaos. Some Latin American airports can be rather calm ( GRU), or free for all's ( old UIO). Just trying to be mentally prepared for whatever it throws at me.
Any advice is appreciated.

Mid to late morning arrival on Delta was pretty average. Nothing special, no crowds of note.
Leaving was more hectic so allow the full two hours or so.

Passed through EZE 2 weeks ago.
About 10am arrival was pretty easy with only a few mins in line at immigration. For a 10pm departure arrived at 8pm and took a good 1+ hour for check-in, security and immigration. Quite crowded with a ton of overlapping US and Europe departures. Basically made it to the gate with only a few mins before boarding commenced.
