Dear Santa For Christmas This Year....

Mon Dec 24, 2018 6:00 pm

It is the start of the holiday season, let's have a little fun. What is on your aviation Christmas List?
Mine would be better than 5 am departure and midnight arrival at my hometown airport (BJI).
But am thankful it is still better than no option!

From an airport ops perspective....Santa can bring us a working baggage handling system.

Anywhere in particular? Works pretty well in the vast majority of American airports

From DEN, another flight to a European hub, perhaps AMS or daily to CDG as well as another connection to Asia.

Dear Santa, please bring civility and understanding to the people who post on a.net.
Have them leave behind the ridiculous fanboyism of A vs B, and simply embrace and celebrate the joy of aviation , in all its forms.

Please leave behind the anti-chinese, anti-semitic, anti-american, anti-french, anti-"3rd world" crap.
just get rid of the hate. please. pretty please. that's all I want.

Love,
FlyHappy (I've been a very, very good child this year)

All over the Workd you will find ramp managers babying baggage handling systems this time of year. The volume is intense and input has to be managed. I am on airport #5.....I would have made the same wish exactly 4 other times :)

And some more 747-8I orders.....
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the very first Fokker airplane built in the world. The Dutch call it the mother Fokker.

I want my company to stop forcing me to take the cheapest flight every trip so I can actually get a full night sleep before a travel day!
Look at sweatpants guy. This is a 90 million dollar aircraft, not a Tallahassee strip club

1. Make people clever enough to have the ticket of the flight they are about to board on their mobiles before proceeding to the scanners.
2. Make people understand that hand luggage can be stowed underneath the seat in front of them on a 60 minutes flight.
3. Make people understand that boarding is something one can be prepare oneself for, e.g. take off the coat, remember the seat and sit down in a timely manner.
4. Make people understand that before boarding is completed and the seat next to you is vacant it can be taken by another passenger. So don’t feel too comfortable and put your stuff on the other seat until you know the seat will not be taken.
5. Make people communicate with each other instead of using flight attendants for it. If the guy in front of me really needs to recline the seat during dinner time, I at least can politely ask him to refrain from doing so during dinner.

Do I seem nice, too? ;)

Dear Santa
1) Please do away with ALL 10 abreast configured B777. IMHO they are an abomination!
2) Please do away all airfares where it costs hundreds of $A more to go LESS distance even though the cheaper fare goes through more expensive fare city.
3) Please have Airbus announce an A380 NG in quarter one 2019 and not screw up production this time.
