So in the interest of aiding you in your spiritual journey towards new-age nirvana, the New Orleans/Louis Armstrong International Airport has introduced a holistic service far more nuanced than kombucha cocktails and therapy dogs: emotional support alligators.

Look at that cute lil Louisianian Swamp Kitten!

I wonder if its bite is as mild as my cat's; I'd let it bite if it wasn't potentially lethal (i.e., bite through a vein).

Well... I think that that may be MORE anxiety inducing. That's all I have to say.
You can take the boy away from aviation, but you can't take aviation out of the boy.

Despite the clickbaity spin Thrillist and USA Today are giving this story, I doubt the reasoning behind these gators is truly "emotional support". It sound more like an educational exhibit that happens to be at the airport.
