What are some airports that have ferry connections? Off the top of my head I can think of HND, KIX, NGO, UKB, HKG and YTZ.

The one that immediately came to my mind is KTN (Ketchikan, Alaska), because it's only accessible by ferry as it's located on an island. There were plans years ago to replace the ferry with a bridge, but that idea was derided as the infamous "bridge to nowhere".

MFM doesn't have a ferry terminal of its own, although Taipa Ferry Terminal is next door, and there's a Shuttle Bus from MFM (airside) to Taipa Ferry Terminal without going through immigration/custom at Macau.

Another one to add to the list - NGS (Nagasaki, Japan), which has a Ferry Terminal with ferries to Togitsu and Huis Ten Bosch Theme Park.

A borderline case would be ICN, since there's a ferry from Yeongjong-do (The island ICN is on) to nearby Muui-do (Which is a small island SW of ICN). It's away from the terminal, though, and one need to ride a bus to get to the ferry terminal on Yeongjong-do.

Ketchikan, AK (KTN) has a boat (ferry?) from the airport to the mainland, where the main part of the town is.

GPS on the island of Baltra would be another one. There is virtually nothing else on Baltra except a bus taking you to the ferry terminal for the island of Santa Cruz and further with another bus to Puerto Ayora.

As mentioned above...Bora Bora is only reachable by boat...since the airport is located in a remote atoll not connected by road to the main island...

Helgoland (HLG) can only be reached by ferry. The airport is located on the island of Düne, the smaller of the two islands (Helgoland itself being the other one). From Düne you take the ferry to Helgoland.

There used to be ferry service from NYC to the Marine Air Terminal at LGA. I took a few times for DL shuttle, was great. Stopped about 15-20 years ago but supposedly LGA rebuild will resume it. MAT was built in 1939 for seaplanes, for centennial would be fitting to have solid ferry service to the city.

Freetown, Sierra Leone, lies a significant distance away from the airport FNA. Ferries, water taxis, and private boats will shuttle you across the estuary of the Sierra Leone river, or one can take a helicopter, all in addition to a traditional bus that may take up to three hours.

Definitely! Alilaguna is the operator of the water bus service, https://www.alilaguna.it/en/lines/lines-map Definitely the best way but exactly where you are staying can make a difference see map for the various routes.
Water taxis are available but considerably more expensive.

Not a ferry but at YVR you can land a float plane on the River and taxi it up a ramp and to a gate area.
