Are there any Long haul routes from AYT?

It seems like there isn’t maybe an occasional 777 or 767 but I do not think AYT has any long haul flights, I could see Delta from JFK or United from EWR trying it out but who knows?

Antalya is all about getting Germans and British red-skinned on the cheap. Zero market to the US.

Never going to happen. DL/UA can not even make IST work. I know because I used to be a DL man for many years flying out JFK, DL72/73 to IST. It has been 5 years since I've switched to TK. Better scheduling, better hard and soft product, better mileage plan, better connections via IST and probably similar pricing if not cheaper.
DL/UA will not fly to AYT, same reason TK is not flying to Palma de Mallorca or the Canary Islands.
These are all low fare charter, tourists routes with little J or Cargo or transfer pax possibilities.
Before AYT, I would like to see some airline flying to SAW ( Istanbul's second airport) from New York.

There are lots of 777 & 767's from Russia serving the tourist market. Azure, Royal Flight, Nordwind, Transaero (before they collapsed). You still get the odd Il-96 too.

You totally forgot those massive amount of Russians :cry2: .

But yes, AYT is a sun market for Europeans (ok, not the French or Spaniards or Italians or Portuguese, but they have their own nice beaches already) and that's pretty much it. Hack, none of the US carriers even fly to IST (Which is a much larger market anyway, but TK takes care of it all more or less), why in the world they would fly into AYT?

Not really longhaul but there sure are some flights to various cities in Siberia like Novosibirsk, Barnaul, or Krasnoyarsk which are around 4500km away from AYT.
