Last airlines to receive new aircraft of a type

It would be interesting to summarize the information about what airlines were last to start operating a new aircraft of a certain type:

I guess for A380 it is ANA.

It’s an interesting topic. No one wants to be the last to get something, lumbered with last year’s model. Then again for some, the discount is worth it.

737-300 was Air NZ
A300 was UPS
A340-300 was Finnair
Pax 767 was ANA (I think*)
747-300 was Sabena, and if you google one of their 747-329s you’ll see they had already figured out the new wing-to-body join that was on the 747-400. So they’re kind of -300-and-a-half.

* Bunch of late customers for pax 767s, came delivered with 777 Signature interiors — Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Shanghai AL.

I think the 727 was fedex.

The last 737-200 was for Xiamen Airlines in 1988; 757-200 for Shanghai Airlines in 2005, and the 757-300 for CO in 2004.

And it's looking like UPS maybe the final customer for the 748F unless someone else
decides to order a few more copies

MD-80: TWA
MD-90: China Northern Airlines
717-200: AirTran
727-200: Continental Airlines
727-200F: FedEx
747-400: China Airlines
747-400F: Kalitta Air
757-200: Shanghai Airlines
757-300: Continental Airlines

Just to make clear. I mean not to receive the last aircraft produced but to be the last to introduce a certain type (new aircraft only).

Are we talking about the last airline to receive a particular aircraft type or to whicht the last built aircraft went?

BTW TAM (Now LATAM Brasil) also got a bunch of new built 763s after NH.

I was looking at 763, and I just don't know how it works.

Both Azerbaijan Airlines and MIAT Mongolian introduced pax 763 on Jun 1st 2011. The Azerbaijan one is new while MIAT one is a used once (since left the fleet). MIAT did eventually get a new 763 in May 2013 (JU-1021, L/N 1050), though. So I guess Azerbaijan Airlines is the answer?

No, MIAT indeed. It doesn’t matter that they already had a used one.
