Hi, if you are still looking for the tail numbers maybe you can post them. I have some free time due to less work caused by covid.

No, not really. I tried via wayback machine to find at least the timetables for TAP and Iberia to find the aircraft type but this was also not successfully..

Southeurope had always a bad coverage with Acars especially at these old times.

At my home forum you will also see a lot flights from that period and area which can't be solved. So you are not alone.

Thank you so much!
Just a question, I recently found pictures I took before I left for MEL on the 2008 flights, showing that the date and time for PEK-HKG was the 21st, departing after 16:00, and the date of the HKG-MEL flight was actually the 22nd instead of the 21st, and most likely a flight in the early morning or morning. I also found that the dates for the flights in April 2013 from PEK-CAN-BNE were actually the 14th instead of the 16th, as well as two additional flights I missed before:
2015-08-10 OOL-SYD VA512 737-800
2015-08-14 SYD-OOL VA527 737-800

Do you have anything in your sources on registrations for those flights, dates and times?

Much appreciated!

So let's start.

At first my questions

QR DOH-CPT B787-8 26/12/2014

Here I found only QR1369 on 25.12.2014 and 27.12.2014 0150 1015, so you have to check if the date is correct

This fits to this post from routesonline
QATAR Airways has modified planned operation for Doha – Cape Town nonstop service. The airline will launch the nonstop flight, replacing 1-stop via Johannesburg, from 03NOV14 as planned, however the airline will operate A330-200/-300 aircraft for the month of November 2014. Planned Boeing 787 operation is now scheduled to begin from 02DEC14.
QR1369 DOH0150 – 1015CPT 330 x57
QR1370 CPT1245 – 2245DOH 330 x57

25.12.2014 A7-BCJ
27.12.2014 A7-BCA

EY MEL-AKL B777-300ER 06\7/09/2010
No EY Flights on these dates
Maybe EK406?

Hi einheitsdesign, my apologies, I didn't see your additional posts answering my requests until now - for some reason I didn't get notified. Anyway thank you so very much for the Wizz and BA info as well as this Aer Lingus data.

I have some more holes I've identified in my logbook that I was wondering if you could also investigate as to the registrations.

Hi, I've been desperately trying so hard to find the registration of my first international/widebody plane, CO009 EWR-NRT B772 04NOV2000.

If possible, the other one's I'm still looking for are:

NW27 NRT-MNL B744 05NOV2000
NW28 MNL-NRT B744 25NOV2000
CO008 NRT-EWR B772 25NOV2000

OZ702 MNL-ICN B772 02SEP2005
OZ222 ICN-JFK B744 02SEP2005
NW71 NGO-MNL B744 19JUL2007
NW20 NRT-MSP B744 08AUG2007

I've tried using ACARS to find some of the post-2006 flights but these are the ones that are still missing. I'd appreciate if any of these could be found. Thanks!

For these flights I can help you with the tail number

Unfortunately I did not find a timetable but since the tail number for all flights is the same it should help you.

Hi, if you are still looking for the tail numbers maybe you can post them. I have some free time due to less work caused by covid.

Still missing some regs out of my 1300+ flights and looking for them since a long time. They would be:

Aer Lingus DUBLHR EI158 15MAR87 732
Finnair HELRVN AY456 06OCT90 DC9 (D95?)

Two more Alohas without flight numbers, so that might be difficult.

Anyone able to do some "magic" here?

Flew on a NW 747-400 I believe on August 9, 1999 or 1998 in the early evening. DTW-AMS. Would love to know what registration. Don't know a Flight Number sadly.

Good evening, I have been looking for years for the registration of the plane on my first flight and I might have found it but I would appreciate any confirmation:

14 May 2000 - AF461 - CCS-CDG A340-300 F-GLZI (?)

I have been using a mix of ACARS, libhomeradar and BTS but I still have a few tail numbers missing:

24 February 2007 - AZ875 - CMN-FCO
10 March 2007 - AZ874 - FCO-CMN

12 October 2000 - Avianca - CCS-BOG
15 October 2000 - Avianca - BOG-CCS
24 February 2001 - ALM Antillean - CCS-SXM (MD82 ?)
28 February 2001 - ALM Antillean - SXM-CCS (MD82 ?)
31 October 2009 - Turkish Airlines - CMN-IST (A330 ?)
11 November 2009 - Turkish Airlines - IST-CMN (A330 ?)

Thank to anyone that could help, I would really appreciate it.

On LHR Logs I found also that registration. So If you have not also found it on that page it should be confirmed.

Good day,

over the past year I made some progress finding my old regs, but for some flights I did not find any clue where to look and how to find them, maybe there's a chance here, but some are very old. Most important for me are:

28.08.1989 EWR-LGW CO24 B741?
29.08.1989 LGW-MUC AE152
23.08.1990 HAJ-KOS HF4337
06.09.1990 KOS-HAJ HF4348
27.07.1991 FRA-EWR CO51
20.08.1991 EWR-FRA CO50
25.03.1995 AMS-FBU KL165
28.03.1995 FBU-AMS KL164
22.06.1997 DUS-HER LT224
31.03.2004 VIE-KUL OS5

More questions: Is there a source for flights with SK (I have tons of before 2005...)? And any chance that someone has the reg of the heli that flew 1991 the scenic flights over the Niagara Falls from the US side heliport?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I have some logs from CPH for the period 2001.05-2001.07, 2004.01-2004.02 and 2002.10. If some of your SK flights fall in these periods you can post them so that I can check if I can find some regs.

Hello there, very happy to find this topic here, since I have been looking for years for some registrations I missed. If anyone has a source to help me out, that would be more than just amazing, especially since my missing regs date back quite a few years.

Would anyone have a clue about these?

- 06 AUG 1995: IAD-CDG, United Airlines B747-100 (or -200), arriving in CDG on 07 AUG 1995
- 04 AUG 1996: SDQ-MIA, AA1510, B727-200
- 06 APR 1999: AKL-LAX, QF101, B747-400
- 10 NOV 1998: CDG-SIN, AF256, A340-?00 (according my log it was a A340-200, but I wish to have it confirmed)

Any registration with source includes a free beer whenever you are in ZRH!

greetings, Chris

Not the tailnumber but some information

2009-11-11 TK1127 ISL-CMN 0955-1300 according to Flightstats the plane was a A321

2009-10-31 should be TK1128 but according to Flightstats there was no flight on this date

How to find old flights

Mon Jul 26, 2021 3:37 am

Hi, I've recently started a mission to find all the registrations I've flown over the years. I've managed to find 83 of my previous registrations so far (not bad considering I only started researching them a month ago), and I used a lot of websites such as ACARSD.org, OpenSky-Network.org, FR24, AirFleets.net, JetPhotos, 16Right.com, etc.
However there's still some large gaps in my flight log and I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to find out the regos that operated these flights? I began emailing airlines this morning in hopes that they could find them but so far none have written back (and I'm not hopeful).

Does anyone know any other ways to find registrations of aircraft from previous flights? I am looking for flights between 2005 and 2015, most of them being in Oceania (Australia).

Here are some examples if anyone is interested in helping me:
- NZ139 (29/09/2005): AKL-BNE
- QF069 (27/10/2006): BNE-CNS
- JQ345 (02/03/2007): BNE-AVV
- QF525 (16/01/2008): BNE-SYD
- SQ245 (21/01/2009): SIN-BNE
- QF051 (10/06/2010): BNE-SIN
- DJ704 (19/02/2011): BNE-HBA
- CX711 (21/12/2012): SIN-CMB
- TZ006 (10/01/2013): SIN-OOL

Those are just a couple of flights (I feel bad putting all my flights here and expecting people to do all the research for me). But if anyone knows any way of finding flights such as these, or maybe has a contact at an airline that could help me, I would be very appreciative :)

Thanks in advance!

Please find below some findings

- QF069 (27/10/2006): BNE-CNS VH-OGO
S: Acars VH-OGO (B763 QF) 1219 20061026 QF0069 (YBCS-RJAA) [somewhere]
Should be the right one when BNE-CNS-NTR was flown on same plane

- SQ245 (21/01/2009): SIN-BNE 9V-SRO
S: Acars 9V-SRO (B772 SQ) 1002 20090121 SQ0245 (SIN-BNE) [[+10:00] Brisbane, Australia [1.70RC3]]

- QF051 (10/06/2010): BNE-SIN VH-QPI
S: Acars via inbound flight
VH-QPI (A330 QF) 2221 20100610 QF0052 (BOM--SIN-BNE) [[+10:00] Brisbane, Australia [1.70RC3]]

- CX711 (21/12/2012): SIN-CMB B-HNO S: Planefinder

I hope I didn't get confused by time zones but according to flight times from Flightstats it should fit.

I'll check some other sources in the next days so maybe I'll be able to some regos more.

Maybe you can post flights from 2012 on (best would be when you also post the time at least of departure) then I check if I can find them on Planefinder.

Thank you so much!!! I think the VH-QPI flight might be wrong though, I believe back then QF51 was opby a 747 from BNE-SIN, then the A330 would come up from Sydney and operate the SIN-BOM leg (I also have an email from a Qantas employee saying I'll be on the 747 on that flight, and the A380 the following flight from SIN-LHR).
I will attach the other flights now, I'll sort them into before/after 2012 for you :)

There is a forum on https://groups.io/g/oz-spotters. I remember that they had already a forum on yahoo-groups. Maybe you can try to get access to this group and you will find someone who can help you with the rest of you regos.

Thank you so, so much! I really appreciate your help, and I've signed up for Oz-Spotters (although they haven't accepted my application yet).
Thanks for finding the SQ17 flight in 2008, but I didn't realise until just then that I actually flew it on 19/01/2009, not 2008 (sorry!). I know ACARSD.org wasn't live during 2009 so I'm guessing it would be impossible to find out what aircraft operated that flight.

I just have a couple of extra flights, unfortunately these ones are harder as I don't have the flight number or time of day (there's no E-ticket for these flights as they were last-minute, so all I have is the aircraft type, date, airline, and route):
- QF???? (BNE-HVB), 20/09/2016, I flew on either VH-TQE or VH-TQZ on this route in the early morning. My guess was QF2374 but I'm not certain.
- QF???? (HVB-BNE), 24/09/2016, this flight was definitely on VH-TQZ at about 3-5pm local time. I guessed QF2379 but once again that's just a guess.
- AC???? (YQB-YYZ), 28/12/2016, I was on an Air Canada Jazz Dash-8, and it was in the afternoon/evening.
- AC??? (YYZ-YVR), 28/12/2016, I definitely flew the Air Canada 767-300ER on this route, and I remember it being a late night/redeye flight as our scheduled flight had left without us and we caught the last flight out of Toronto so we could be in Vancouver for New Years. I've tried really hard to find which 767 I was on, but I couldn't find anything. The flight number might have been AC115, but I honestly can't say if that's correct.

I'm really not expecting anything out of this, but maybe if you have some time on your hands you could have a look into it for me :)
Sorry to keep bothering you haha, and thank you so much for all the incredible work you've done for me. I really, really appreciate it! <3

It's a pleasure to help others to find missing regos because I also got already a lot of help from others to solve my missing regos.

So let's go:

Acars.org have had also 2009 logs on it's page but for unknown reasons they are gone. Fortunately someone sent a copy to me.

Thank you very much, just two more if you feel like it:
- QF2406 (BNE-EMD), 04/04/2016
- Could you also please find out what flights VH-LQG did on 10/07/2016? I have a photo of me in the cockpit after a flight, I have a feeling it was either an EMD-BNE flight or a LRE-BNE flight.

Thanks again! :)

Here's a tricky one for me for the simple fact that I don't know the exact date for this one. Northwest 17, a Boeing 747-400 from JFK to NRT in June of 2002. I'm thinking some time between the 20th to the 30th.

I also have a request as I'm not sure of the reg of those 2 flights, and it might be too old to find them :
ORY-IST : TK1826 (B738) on October 30th 2006
IST-ORY : TK1829 (B738) on November 3rd 2006

Thanks a lot.

Just to add some more information in case this helps, this flight was pushed back from the gate I believe on time, but ground stopped along taxiway A short of N because of weather. This flight eventually departed JFK from runway 13R and landed on runway 34L at NRT.

I'm sorry but this search is not possible. I can only try to find a rego when I have a route and a date. But what I did was to check if on the routes you stated VH-LQG was flying but for both routes it' negative.

Unfortunately, we didn't fly Northwest 18 on the return, as we flew Continental 8 to EWR in August of that year. I don't know what date that would have been, though. Thanks for the attempt. I did add some more information in a later post in case it helped determine which date this was during that time period:

"Just to add some more information in case this helps, this flight was pushed back from the gate I believe on time, but ground stopped along taxiway A short of N because of weather. This flight eventually departed JFK from runway 13R and landed on runway 34L at NRT."

He’s not saying you flew NWA18, he’s saying the plane that operated NWA17 must’ve come back to JFK as NWA18, so the same aircraft’s previous flight could’ve been your NWA17 :)

Copy. I guess the plane sits at JFK all day, then, given that it arrives 10 minutes after NWA17 departs.
