Hi Guys & Dolls,

I fly regularly CPH-IAH (about 14-16 times per year). I mostly fly with KLM though AMS. I have recently noticed that the Business Class tickets (CPH-CDG-IAH-CDG-CPH) are about € 800 - 1200 cheaper on Air France through CDG. I love KLM, and their lie-flat seats on the B789 is great, but prices are often above my Corporate spending limit.

Any one have experience with AF Business Class long haul? Service and seats are up to par with KLM?

I have Flown Air France Business Class on the 380, 787, 777, and 340. I have also flown KLM Business Class on 787 and 777

Seats
The seats on the Air France 787 and 777 are almost identical to the KLM 787, and superior to KLM 330 and 777 if traveling alone.
The seats on the Air France 380 and 340 and from what I understand 330 (though 330 is currently being refurbished) are ancient angle flat and offer little privacy.

Catering
I find the food on Air France catering to be superior to KLM

Service
I have had good service from both in the air, on the ground KLM is better, and I would generally avoid CDG for several reasons,

Lounge
AF Salon lounges are significantly better than KLM Crown Lounges...but still I rather do without the potential CDG headaches (Strikes, Delays, Rude Staff)

I flew Air France business class on their A380 last year. The seat was an angled lie-flat 180 degrees. Pretty disappointing considering most of their other long haul aircraft have fuly lie-flat business class seats. I was impressed with the food service & the crew were pretty friendly.
