Westin SEA
Has anyone stayed at the Westin recently in downtown SEA. Having lived in Bell Town at one time in the past I recall it was not to bad, but what with the city going down the tubes just wondering if there might be a better option?

We stayed at the Waterfront Marriott just below the Market in March and have always found it to be a good spot both in location and comfortable. No safety issues what so ever walking around Belltown or the downtown area.

Mayflower Park Hotel in Westlake Center is a great property in a safe and convenient location. Light rail direct from Sea-Tac to Westlake Center and stroll around the corner to hotel. And a short walk to Biscuit Bitch for breakfast and the Market just a couple blocks further.

I stayed there in March. It is your typical cookie cutter hotel that doubles as a conference hotel. Nothing special, kind of outdated. I stayed there for its proximity to local stores but if I were to go back to Seattle, the Marriott Seattle Waterfront looks much, much more appealing.
