For the aircraft, it was much nicer than a 737NG, but definitely underwhelming compared to the CFM powered A320neo. It was only slightly more silent than an A320ceo. The noise of external rushing air was very noticeable at the front of the cabin.
Disregarding the safety issues, I would not go out of my way to fly on a 737MAX. It just felt like a brand new 737NG with the sky interior. The latest KLM 737-800s are almost identical from the aspect of an economy seat. For standard 3+3 economy class, I would take almost any other type over it due to the narrower cabin/seats.

What did the lie flat look like? Was it comfortable, roomy? Was it 2-2 configuration? I ask only because the only single aisle bed seat I’ve flown was a 757. I don’t know how much wider a 757 is inside vs a 737. Thanks
