Best Eurowhite Livery

Thu Jul 11, 2019 5:32 am

With many airlines revising their liveries into the "Eurowhite" style. They have received criticism from a lot of people. But the benefits seem to outweigh the advantages: lower fuel consumption, lower weight. Many people don't like this but it seems like airlines are not going back, Eurowhite is the way forward. So, in your opinion, what is / was the best Eurowhite livery?

Personal favourite of mine is SAA, specifically on an A346.

Air France really pioneered EuroWhite, so to me, their Eurowhite livery always looks best.

Eurowhites of today are actually getting more creative with the
- extended vertical fin livery,
- coated underbelly,
- colored engine nacelles,
- painted winglets, and
- larger billboard titles.

Japan Airlines, the infamous user of white and almost nothing else for paint (except for the Special A350 add-ons) is truly Eurowhite.

Every time I see a Finnair plane, I appreciate their livery more and more. Saw one of their A350s at HKG a while ago and it looked stunning.

x2
They achieved to create something elegant and fresh with just some navy blue on white. I love the Finnair branding as a whole.

JAL is my favorite, very clean and elegant. They really keep their planes clean.

Finnair and JAL. Take minimalism to the extreme yet still classy, states the brand and looks considered unlike the clip art slap job or China Eastern.

There are some really beautiful Eurowhite liveries around. Some of my favorites are Thai, Kenya Airways, AeroMexico, TAP and the newest Royal Air Maroc livery.

What really ruins a beautiful Eurowhite livery for me is a non-white belly like British Airways, Icelandair and the old Lufthansa livery. If you're going to paint it white, better paint it all white.

??? I wouldn’t classify TG‘s livery as Eurowhite:

Just saying... :scratchchin:

Greetings All, I am surprised that no one has mentioned QF.
Plain and uncomplicated as well as being quite easy on the eye,
Cheers ,325i.

The one thing I can’t stand about JAL branding is that the logo on the tail says JAL, but the titles say Japan Airlines instead of Japan Air Lines.

Air France and Finnair have best eurowhite livery.

But the airline is Japan Airlines, not Air Lines.

It was founded as Japan Air Lines, that is why the logo says JAL. The logo should have been updated or they should have kept the old name.

That ain't Eurowhite, it has cheatlines. For me, Eurowhite means lack of cheatlines.
