Yahoo ranks "Top Ten Domestic U.S. Airports" for 2019

Thu Jul 11, 2019 8:16 pm

First off, I get that this is entirely subjective. Second, I know that the article title is misleading since the majority of these airports on here have international service despite being deemed "domestic". I thought I'd just post this for fun. Scores were out of 100 possible points.
https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/2018-wo ... 38567.html

10. DAL - 73.79
9. MHT - 73.81
8. PBI - 74.26
7. PIT - 74.90
6. SNA - 75.90
5. TPA - 76.34
4. SAV - 76.99
3. MSP - 78.44
2. IND - 78.55
1. PDX - 80.84

IMO very interesting to see MHT made it on here. It's definitely easy to access and the terminal layout is very simple, but that place has some of the worst TSA I've ever experienced and it's always been expensive to fly into there, even before BOS exploded in growth. I also thought TPA would be ranked higher and DTW would make the list (ignoring past A.net shenanigans of course).

This is dumb. What do they even mean by domestic then?

In that the list consists of only US airports and not ones from around the world. Since it is a US based story, this would tell someone who was about to read it to not expect to see the usual suspects on best in world lists.

There are some real head scratchers on this list. AUS is better than all of these but maybe PDX and MSP.
