United rolling out virtual cabin tours fleetwide

United is ahead of the game once again, rolling out virtual cabin tours starting with the CRJ550 but gradually rolling out across the entire fleet.

Yep. Passengers will be able to confirm they're on yet another fleet type that doesn't have AVOD. I'm confident they will appreciate that.

No AVOD, but wifi which has free movies using the united app on your mobile device. I always fly with an iPad so this is fine with me. Same thing on Southwest, my other frequent airline. My only complaint is the United wifi only works above 10k feet but Southwest wifi works on the ground. Is United ground based wifi and Southwest via satellite?

I've never had WN wifi below 10K on ascent, but on approach I can do it all the way in.
