Only one 747-300 operating?

Not surprising at all, since this model was only produced from 1983 to 1990, which means even the youngest airframes would be in their late 20s-early 30s by now.

It was the last one that was built, in 1990, for Sabena. MSN 24837. Delivered to Sabena as OO-SGD.
It was also the last three-man cockpit 747 to be built.

Not quite. The last classic 747 (with a three-man cockpit) built was MSN 25171, a Boeing 747-200 freighter built in 1991. That aircraft was originally built for Nippon Cargo Airlines as JA8194 but is now flying for Fars Air Qeshm as EP-FAB.

EP-MND hasn't flown since November 7th. I arrived in THR on November 10th hoping to fly on it.. :banghead:

Max Air has three 747-300s in storage. Two of these are SR variants designed for a very high number of cycles with a heavy duty landing gear.
These aircraft could be dry leased at a better rate than a 747-400.
