EK A380 Zone F Boarding

Thu Jan 02, 2020 10:42 pm

Hi A. Netters,

I just flew EK211, in the front row aisle seat on the left (41 C). It was a treat with so much space and easy access to 3 restrooms up front and galleys on this long flight. It was well worth the additional charge, I thought. I was also pleasantly surprised that the Zone F boarding for the front part of the 380 (lower level) was right after first and business class and this zone also had it's own designated jetway on the lower level, like business and first for 777s. Overall, the EK A380s are just fantastic and so popular with passengers. Too bad, it is not viable for airlines.

This is certainly the best place in the EK A380 as far as economy class goes. You have a fairly small cabin, and you can leave the plane very quickly after arrival.

The A380 is certainly a fine plane for long distance travel. I love the bar as well, that’s a nice place to spend time. But I will say the J seats should be a bit softer.

Otherwise no complaints and friendly service from the staff.
