Getting to Eagle’s Nest at LAX

Mon Jan 06, 2020 10:21 pm

Hi,
I’m flying out of LAX on American Eagle in a couple of months and my flight leaves at 8:05 PM. How early should I get to the airport and how/where do I catch the bus to get to the remote terminal where American Eagle operates from? Also do I have to go through security before the bus or is there security at the Eagle terminal?
Thank you!

It’s not too bad! Yes you will need to go through security before you hop on the bus. You can catch the bus at terminal 4 or terminal 5 and it takes about 10-15min so plan accordingly with that. You can get on the bus in Terminal 4 toward the end of the concourse off on the left side (you will see signs). Terminal 5 I can’t remember where you get on the bus but there are plenty of signs! 805pm it will be getting pretty busy so expect long lines at security.

Also, if you check in/drop a bag at the airport, you are supposed to do it at T5 when departing from the Eagle's nest. In reality, I doubt they will turn you away if you try to check in/drop a bag at T4.
