Back when Airbus had the A220-300 on display at the Farnborough airshow they had it fitted out with these seats.

How comfortable do you think these seats would of been it an airline put them on 2/3 hours flights within Europe etc? The legroom and width looks good but I’m not sure about the amount of padding

There's no picture so I don't know which seats you're talking about. I do know Air Baltic's are very acceptable for 5h night flights.

It is very comfortable.

It is much more comfortable than the seat in your office where you sit on during more than 8 hours per working day.

On this forum there's got to be a seat guru (little s, little g) who recognizes the manufacturer and model of that coach seat.

Then a secondary question: are most carriers actually using the seat pitch of the Airbus model, or are they cramming in more rows?

That pitch already looks pretty tight. And Baltic is the tightest at this time.

Best seats on the A220, swiss for sure! The single tray holder is genius, so much more space for the knees... Forget the seats shown above.

I personally don't like it. Divides the seat pocket into two very small pockets, which barely can fit a bottle. And as I have the table down only when I get catering, most of the time for me the tray table is stowed so it doesn't even make a difference. I'd prefer the standard seat pocket net other airlines have.

Besides that, the seats don't feel any different than most other seats on short haul aircraft.
