Seatmap accuracy IB vs. Seatguru

Fri Feb 14, 2020 7:00 pm

Hi everybody,

maybe someone could shed light into this. Having a trip on IB from MEX to MAD in April, I noticed the seatmaps for the A340-600 (Premium Economy version) differ between the Iberia Homepage and seatguru. If you look at row 33, seatguru states for the middle row extra legroom due to emergency exits, while in my booking and on the IB Homepage, they appear as regular Y seats.

I tend to believe the IB Hompage to be more accurate, obviously, but I am curious why seatguru might point out row 33 as extra legroom row. Anyone remembers something from a recent trip or knows where seatguru gets their seatmaps from/ the general accuracy of their seatmaps?
