PAX complain because WN plane too full

Thu Apr 30, 2020 4:14 pm

So a passenger chooses to fly but then goes to the news with complaints that he and his wife were concerned because they didn’t feel they were able to adequately social distance themselves. It’s now a no-win situation for the airlines it seems.

I’m sure he had not complaint regarding the $39 fare.

AA was getting social media-shamed for the same thing in recent days.

The reality is that while there is a portion of people are are truly traveling for essential reasons, others are choosing to fly for somewhat non-essential reasons.
Note that these full flight issues tend to involve Florida on one end of the journey.
Yes, we are now at the time of the year when many snowbirds are starting to reposition out of their winter spots in places like Florida and Arizona.

If you are truly concerned then just don't fly.

And the same people complaining about full planes will be the ones claiming price gouging when airlines have to raise fares by 50% or more to offset blocked seats when (if?) The masses return to the sky.

I believe both the WN and AA complainers were thinking they would have the plane to themselves and when their anticipated Instagram moment was ruined by a full flight they both decided to complain "unsafe!".
