I remember a family member flying a China Eastern MD-11 from ORD to SEA to PEK to SHA. I know LAX was served non-stop from SHA but what about SFO and YVR? It was the end of a era with MU starting JFK with the A346 and finally the 77W and soon A359. They returned to SFO and ORD non-stop with the 77W.

IIRC, with their MD-11F. Not too sure about pax flights. One could search this site for MU at SEA and see what photos there are.

I do remember seeing a China Eastern Cargo taking off from LAX when I went to the beach in LA some 13 years ago (I was with my brother and his wife who were not aviation fans at all then, my brother now works for Alaska so he appreciates aviation more now, but back then, there was no way we'd hit the airport with them driving our car) so I know they used the 11 on their cargo ops at LAX.

You could find the CK MD-11Fs at LAX, ORD, DFW, JFK, ATL, SEA, ANC and a couple other places. They were quickly phased out when CK got their 744Fs.

1993-1997 seems like a long run for MU pax service to SEA, but there we go. They're also listed at the S gates in the following terminal map from April 1995:
