Can someone provide an accounting of which terminals are open and which are closed at LHR?
Also, will anything hold over post-COVID, such as AA staying in T5?
Last I had heard, only W.H. Smiths and Boots were open airside. Still the case?

T2 and T5 are open, meaning T3 and T4 are closed at the moment. T3 should be reopening when there are enough flights to/from countries designated ‘green’ by the UK Government. T4 will probably re-open a bit later. I’m not sure if AA will stay in T5. Maybe someone else can shed some light on that?
There is limited retail open in T2, including a duty free shop, Cafe Nero, Pret and a few other eateries. Most of the airline lounges are still closed.

T3 is open for arrivals from Red listed (U.K. Government list) counties, to stop mixing faith Green and Amber arrivals.

T3 is in effect closed.. All "RED LIST" pax are bussed from T2 or T5 to be processed through T3.
Currently T3 sees several Cargo flights each day, with the remainder of the stands being used for short term aircraft parking.
T4 is also used for short term aircraft parking.
the plan is still to have BA move some flights to T3 if the current restrictions allow, and if /when that happens , the RED LIST arrivals will be bussed to T4.
Signage is currently up in Terminal 4 re COVID restrictions as per RED LIST arrivals.
As someone earlier mentioned, most T5 shops are open, but its not the cheapest place to shop, in fact one of the opposites.
