My favorite is the 787 because of the Skyinterior and the quiet engines (I like both silent 787 AND loud 767 engines). It's also the best-looking aircraft I've flown on, though I'd say the A350 looks better (never flown on it though). Also, the IFE screens are very responsive, though it may not apply to every airline. The only issues are the F/A-controlled dimming windows and Charleston factory. I like everything else about it.
My second favorite would be the 747, although I've never flown on one, only been on a few on display.

I guess it should be a case of first love and all that, which for me would mean B747-136, since my first ever flight was on a full Certificate of Airworthiness Test on G-AWNE, back as a just 17 year old in 1983.
Half a dozen on board, no luggage, baggage, the tests included several stalls over the English Channel on a clear August day, plus perhaps less scheduled was a low level pass over Boscombe Down airfield!
Until the very non widebody Concorde, flying was kind of....mundane after that.
But that's not in my list, I never flew on one but 747SP, (saw them leap into the air living around LHR), L1011 - from pax and work experience, again no pax experience but I always liked the look of the A340-500/600's.

Favorite in terms of looks is the L-1011, although I've never flown on one.
Favorite as a passenger is the 767, as someone else mentioned it has the best configuration in Y. The A330/340 are a close second in that respect.

767 is the most comfortable in Y....no question. The DC-10 was comfortable as well. The middle seats on the 747 murder.

Generally speaking, the 767 and the 330. I've been on three 747s. One was comfortable, (EVA) the second one was brutal due to the cabin fittings (some strange layout Delta had in business in some sort of herringbone pattern). The third was wonderful, quiet, smooth. The filthy and worn interior subtracted from an otherwise fine flight.. (BA)
At the opposite end is the 777. They've been rattletraps, loud, and made odd noises on every one in which I rode, regardless of airline. EVA, China Southern, and one other. I forget who.
I've not had the pleasure of flying the 787 or the 350.

I agree the 787 would be a great aircraft, the only downside is that the crew is able to override the window dimming. That shouldn't be the case. Anyway, the 787 is the only wide body I've ever flown so I don't really have much to compare it with but it's a pretty smooth ride.
Though I think my choice of favorite widebody goes to the A350. Never flown one, never even been inside one, but it looks nice on pictures and I'm hearing good stories about it.

767 because it has a comfortable configuration, and it has the beastly performance and looks of a 757. Sad that its little brother didn't last as long. I often like call those two the unbeatable duo.

Least favorite has got to be the CRAIC CR929. Basically a crossbreed between a 787 and 350, and in my opinion, it looks a little off.

L-1011. Early cabins were so cavernous, the ceiling seemed soo high. As a brat I spend alot of time in the cockpit, in F plus a few visits to the galley on the elevator for some extra snacks. Miss those days!

Never flown on a 767, but I also really like the A330. I actually really like the 777, although on my last flight on them (a UA 772, SFO-IAH), the engine kept sounding like it was spooling down and then back up.

I was fine with the 3-3-3 on both of my 787 flights, although I do slightly prefer 2-4-2, and I get how it can get a bit narrow.

DC-10. It seems [seemed] the quietest to me. Of course I did not fly First Class so perhaps that is just a quiet from sitting in economy seating. Larger windows than other wide body aircraft. Seemed larger on the interior than the L-1011. Seemed very stable in flight.

A350 currently, but I've only done one sector. Followed by 789.
I love the GE90 noise with the 777, but find it less comfortable otherwise than the newer pair. I do prefer the 2-4-2 seating on A330 over 777 (or 747) as well. 747 I have always found very noisy, and preferred the 767 (my first widebody flight) to 747 back to back.

For Y, definitely the 767. Don't have a ton of widebody flights so can't really compare, still need to get a flight on a 747, 787 (coming next week), A340, A350, and A380.

I love the 767 and A330 because most carriers still have the 2-3-2 and 2-4-2 configuration. I absolutely don't like having 3 seats on either side, such as the 737. Crawling over 2 people to use the restroom is never fun.

From a purely aesthetic point of view I love the Lockheed Tristar and the MD11.
However I don’t particularly enjoy travelling on widebodies because, as someone who usually travels in Y there are just too many people and I find them a bit overwhelming. I therefore would probably rank the 767 as my favourite widebody purely because it is not very wide.
I look forward in the future to using the A321XLR for at least some of my long(ish) haul flying

Personally, I like widebodies more because they're a bit more spacious. I also travel in Y normally (I've only flown F on 3 aircraft: 777, CRJ-700, and E175), but I don't find the number of people overwhelming. I get how it can be overwhelming, though.
It should be interesting to fly the A321XLR, since it's essentially an A320 but longer across the Atlantic.

The seats in my recent 787-9 flights did seem just a bit too narrow. (Both Air France and United).
Cutting 1 seat and having 8 across instead of 9 would make a huge difference.

767 lover here. At least as long as we talk of economy class on in-service planes. Up front I honestly don't care that much, as long it isn't an A380. Hate that one for some unspecific hatred

I think JAL has some 2-4-2 787's. No US carrier has 2-4-2 Dreamliners either.

If I'm in biz class I don't care. If economy, I try to avoid 777's due to the loud engine noise.
I do agree the Tristars seemed extremely spacious with the high ceilings before the overhead center bins were installed after refit. Also liked 747 combis so there was never any chance of sitting in the last cabin at the back.

767-300 was my first widebody flight, so it's sentimental. I've also flown the 78X in J, it was a nice ride and a very smooth touchdown. But, if we're going on aesthetics, my favorite is the A346 (yes, despite my username).
