Transit time intl > Dom and vv at JFK

Tue Sep 28, 2021 6:28 am

Hello

I will be flying SQ J SIN-JFK and connecting to B6 Y JFK-FLL in early November with the return a couple of weeks later. I have not flown to the US for over 2 years (pre-Covid) and have not flown into JFK for maybe a decade, so I would love some opinions on how to best plan this. A few facts:

OUTBOUND
* SQ flight from SIN lands around 7:30am on a Sunday
* Will only have a carry-on bag, no checked luggage
* B6 flight is ticketed separately although on the highest Y fare
* Earliest B6 flight I am considering is 9am as the next one is 12:30pm and I don't want to wait more than 3 hours

INBOUND
* SQ flight from JFK departs 10:30pm on a Saturday
* Similarly, will only have a carry-on bag, no checked luggage
* B6 flight is ticketed separately although on the highest Y fare
* Was thinking of taking B6 2202 which lands at 9pm in JFK but seems risky, so wonder if taking B6 1902 is better

Thanks in advance for your input!
