When did Virgin Atlantic start Shanghai Pudong PVG?
When did Virgin Atlantic start Shanghai Pudong PVG? I believe it was approximately the year 2000 when I saw their logo in the check in board in addition to Northwest which is what I was flying at the time. Was the equipment A343? They beat BA to the punch and in the year 2000 it was when globalization with China and the West started.

It was initially an A343 route, then it ramped up to mostly A346 until the B789's arrived and then it became a B789 route.
They would fill the lower deck of the A346 completely with freight. The cargo on the route alone made a lot of money.
