ah I see.
Neeleman was effectively kicked out of JetBlue.
That said, their business models are very different.
JetBlue: Extreamly high hourly utilization of narrowbodies, picked the A220 to compliment the A320 with much lower unit costs than the E190 and definitely more range. e.g., the mix of improving utilization, low unit costs, and the range will help open San Antonio for JetBlue:

https://www.aviationbusinessme.com/airl ... 0-on-orderIt will be interesting to see how Breeze uses the A220 different than JetBlue (hours flown per day in particular).
Neeleman has his ideas that are different than the current JetBlue. As Breeze is so tiny and only flying E190s P2P vs. JetBlue using them as hub feeders, it will be interesting to see how Breeze matures and how JetBlue changes with the A220.
For both airlines, I predict the excellent range and economics will change their current business model. For JetBlue, open more city pairs. For Breeze, higher utilization and the added range will also open more city pairs.
