I have been trying for over one week to make an intercontinental business class reservation with Emirates. Four times I have received the dreaded "due to high call volumes we are unable to take your call" or on the two times I was put in queue I gave up after 37 and 41 minutes of hold time. I can not make the reservation on their site because I want to upgrade into first using my many, many miles I have accrued with them. Does anybody know what the heck is going on with their reservations? Even trying to contact them via Twitter yields no results.
