Hello ! Let's talk about wide body aircraft economy class. I would like to know which cabins do you like the most in terms of design ? Here are some of my favorite wide body aircraft interiors

Air India 747-200 cabins from the 80's.

Honorable mention to the Trussardi designed Alitalia 747 cabin- not sure if all the fleet received the makeover or only a few aircraft.

I like the Air Tahiti Nui interior - light, airy, nice color combo. The Air France interior is elegant, but more modern. For both, I like the combinations of colors and textures they are creating to offset that seat pitch (!) on long haul.

Honorable mention to Oman Air interiors in coach as well as United.

Historically, I am always fascinated with the Braniff interiors, although they are for narrow-body. The leather seats, the blue cloth center seat fold down, and the alternating window panel treatments with muted stripes. And who can forget the drop ceilings (or whatever they are called).

He did specify a timeframe by using the word "has" instead of "had". Has is present time, meaning now.

JAL and Korean, simply because they provide wide seats and 34" pitch in economy.

OK, you indirectly mentioned it, but let's not forget that JAL is the only airline with 2-4-2 configurated 787's.

That sounds good. Now, please open up the borders as soon as possible, so we can finally travel again. I miss visiting Japan.

All Boeing 787's should be configured like that. That's why I plan all my economy long haul travel on the Airbus A330 and A340.

Which is no guarantee either as some airlines have their A330s configured in 3-3-3. For example AirAsia X, it's the reason they're able to offer lower fares than airlines that fly the same aircraft in 2-4-2.

True, but it's only the Asian LCC's that have 3-3-3 configured A330's. The legacy carriers have a 2-4-2 configuration. With the 787, all Low-cost and Legacy (except JAL) airlines have a 3-3-3 configuration, sadly.

I don't travel on Asian lowcost airlines. Every legacy airline offers 2-4-2 on the A330, as it should be. I remember a flight on a Jetstar A330, lowcost but still 2-4-2 seating.

And the Boeing 767 of course with 2-3-2 seating.

That’s not strictly true as for example Air caraibes have 332 and 333s which are in a 3-3-3 configuration and there may well be other leisure oriented airlines outside of Asia who do the same.

I also like Air Tahiti Nui’s interior.
United also has a really modern interior, especially when looking forward.
