DEN-COS. If the winds are right, I've heard air time can be less than 15 mins.

SEA is the closest scheduled passenger service from PDX at 129 miles. RDM (Redmond/Bend, OR) is closer at 116 miles but AS dropped direct service during Covid. I’m sure there are scheduled cargo/feeder flights that are shorter.

CHA-ATL; 106 statute miles, operated 7x most days with 5-6 of those being mainline.

Probably PIT-DTW at 201 statute miles. PIT-YYZ is a close second. I flew PIT-CLE once at 106 mi, that one's long gone.

From YVR, it's probably Nanaimo (YCD), which is a 70-80 km flight that takes about 40 minutes. There's a circuitous routing around Gabriola Island.

You can also take the ferry from Tsawwassen to Duke Point. It's a 2 hour sailing. The return fare is $130 if you have a car, $40 for foot passengers.

If you really want to get technical, Harbour Air has regularly scheduled flights from YVRs seaplane base to Salt Spring Island (YGG) and the flight is 5 miles less than YVR-YCD at 28 miles.

No flights to Bos? Is it connected by rail to Bos?

There isn't a direct rail connection from Hartford, but there is from Springfield and anywhere along the CT shoreline. There's frequent intercity bus from Hartford and sections of the Mass Pike aside, it's a pretty easy drive from Hartford up to Boston.

Starting September 7, the shortest flight from BDL will be 100 miles to LGA. There's frequent rail service between Springfield/Hartford/all of Connecticut and New York, and all the connections reachable from LGA can be done in DTW/ATL. This is really just for slot filling at LGA.

YUL-YOW 82 nm for regular service

but for deliveries: YMX-YUL, 18 nm (deliveries of A220 to AC)

edit to add that there seem to be a few flights to and from YHU as well: 14 nm
Those would be charters or repositioning, not sure about it.

ATL-CSG (Columbus, GA) - 83 SM on DL Connection.
ATL-CHA (Chattanooga) - 106 SM on DL Mainline (and couple Connection)

If I remember correctly there used to be a flight to Macon which would have been at 72 SM but I think that was axed some time back.

From SYD I suspect it's the weekly Link Airways flight to Newcastle. From my other home in PER it would probably be Busselton (BQB) which is served by the occasional VA or QF charter from PER - for regular commercial flights I suspect GET-PER on Qantaslink takes that honour

SFO-OAK tag-ons by several airlines in years past would be the shortest segment you’ve ever heard of. 11 miles.

Not as impressive as other long departed mainline flights/destinations, but STL at 237 miles would be MCI's shortest current flight.

ATL-MCN Delta Connection

For mainline I think it's ATL-AGS (Augusta) on DL
