Also, the 767s only flew to LAX and SFO domestically on Piedmont during that time period, as they were flown to LGW from BWI and CLT for their transatlantic service.

You can add TPA-CLT to that mix as well, flew that in June 1988 and I believe it continued on to LGW. IIRC it was a 762..

USPIT10L wrote:True, looks it was downgauged after the USAir/Piedmont merger. The original LGW route authority was TPA-CLT-LGW. I wonder if MCO saw them as well at that time. I'll check my Piedmont archive after work.
