Lufthansa JNB-FRA 28MAR23 given strike...

Hi all,

Just a quick q, I am sure there is a knowledgeable person here who can help! ;-) I am supposed to fly this Tuesday (28 March) JNB-FRA on LH0573. Due to the German (airport) strike on 26/27 March, the outbound LH0572 on 27 March has been cancelled, but my return LH0573 still shows as operating. Odd of course. Q: will my flight be cancelled later as not to overflood the call center with rebookings or will the a/c perhaps position empty on the 27th to JNB? Or...? If somebody thinks the flight will be cancelled, I'd like to anticipate. Thanks for your help!

As the strike on Monday affects also the inbound leaving Sunday, it is cancelled as well. Hence the aircraft is there to operate the flight.

There are a significant number of aircraft on 27 March carrying passengers to Germany, but not taking any passengers on flights from Germany. As an example, Swiss is operating 4 flights from Zurich to Hamburg and back. They will carry passengers from Zurich, but zero (or very very few) passengers from Hamburg
