I may be corrected later on, but in my years of following airlines, I don't think AA ever flew 747's. Their jumbo fleet in the old days was the DC-10 (now MD11).

AA did fly quite a few 747's from the early 70's up to the early 80's.
In the late 1980's, they began to fly a couple 747-SP's on the DFW-AA), Japan">NRT route, but these aircraft were short lived with the carrier.
One of AA's timetables from the early 1970's features the interior of the 747 on its' cover...but I'm sure this isn't what your looking for.
