Boeing: both ways, depends on the airplane type actually:
717: Boeing seven seventeen
727: Boeing seven twenty seven
737: Boeing seven three seven
747: Boeing seven four seven
757: Boeing seven fifty seven
767: Boeing seven six seven
777: Triple seven
so it varies for Boeing planes. for Airbus planes, I usually say, e.g., for A320, A three twenty...so on for all other airbus planes (three ten, three thirty, three nineteen, three forty etc etc).
no real proper way to say aircraft types, whatever floats your boat.
