I am absolutely off topic concerning internal flights in the States. Apart from the big ones, I really don't know what are the LCC's that serve the New York/ South Florida routes.

Can anybody help me with this?

Jet Blue and Spirt most likely will be the cheapest both only fly to FLL. Song will be cheap as well. It is one of the biggest markets in the world so you will find plenty of close fares.

If you're coming from CDG and want to go to South Florida, it would probably be much easier if you took a non-stop right into MIA (I believe that both AA and AF fly the route) than stopping in New York.

If you have a reason to stop in New York, I would recommend doing either AA from CDG-JFK-MIA/FLL or CO with CDG-EWR-MIA/FLL. A minor note, CO has a gorgeous and easy-to-navigate hub terminal at EWR that has its own customs and immigration dedicated to CO flights that rarely has long waits, whereas AA is split between 8 and 9 at JFK and is lumped together with all other international arriving flights, so it might a little easier to stick with EWR.

Song is always a bit cheaper than B6. Maybe Spirit and their crappy MD-80s beat them.

Hi there...hope your stay in the SoFLA area is a pleasant!

If your flying in from CDG (w/ no stay in NYC area required) try flying in directly/nonstop into MIA from CDG (as mentioned before). AF flies daily (and double daily on several days come Winter '04) into MIA w/ a 744 and AA flies daily from CDG w/ a 763ER.

Believe it or not, you can get very cheap and great rates on AA if you choose to do NYC-MIA. You can find sales for about 130.00 dollars roundtrip!! Sometimes even cheaper than that if you fly into FLL. Check out www.aa.com, and see if they have any good sales.

If not..JetBlue, Spirit, Song are your best bets for LCC's into FLL, MIA has not LLC service from the NYC area.

I think your best options are JetBlue and Spirit. They both offer a great service...but if you are searching for cheap flights l think your best options are American, Spirit and JetBlue...

Umm, Spirit´s MD-80s are indeed crappy (old). Mom and dad have flown with them twice, and it was horrible, and they are good judges, guessing they have flown MD-80s a lot in domestic sectors here in Colombia (yes, there are 26 MD-8X aircraft serving in colombia)

Ah yes- because they are old, they are crappy. Hey- fly Northwest sometime. They must be the worst airline in the world in your book.
