I had to fly on TWA countless times on CMH (Port Columbus International Airport) and STL (St. Louis Lambert International Airport) route between 1980 and 1988.

Even though, CMH was my "origin city" and STL was my "desination city", I called STL my home airport. What an airport STL was back then!

After I graduated from school in St. Louis in 1988, I started to like Eastern Airlines. I called Atlanta my home airport. Then, Eastern stopped flying and lost Atlanta as my home airport.

Unfortunately, TWA and Eastern vanished.

Right now, I do not have home airport. CMH is not my home airport, CMH is always my "base" airport.  Smile

Home Alone? No... Airport Alone? Yes

I live 2 miles from PAE, but all of my commercial flying is out of SEA/KSEA, about 30 miles south of here.

I'd love to see a PAE-PDX flight!

or Santacruz Airport [Domestic Terminal] & Sahar Airport [International Terminal].
Close to Home,Can drive to work at the Airport in 6 minutes at Night & 30 mins in Day Thanks to the Mumbai Traffic. Smile

Until Sept. 18, 2004, FWA (Fort Wayne Int'l--Baer Field) was my home airport.

Since I am now living and studying in London, I consider LHR my new home airport for now--I spend most Saturdays there, spotting.

As I have two homes (Switzerland and India), I have two home airports :

GVA and MAA (Chennai/Madras ).

I like both my two homes and both my two home airports.

One day I will tell you about my transit airports. They are great, too.

Belfast City Airport
Dublin International

I have only been in Belfast City and International airport once, because most of me photographs, spotting and travelling are from Dublin Intl.

By the way incase you guys cared my home airports are VNY BUR and LAX. I get the best of everything I guess you would say as I am right under the landing pattern for all.

Heheh, nearest home airport is FST (Fort Stockton/Pecos County). Nearest airport with commercial air service is 100mi away, MAF.

LHR - about 25 miles
SOU - about 40 miles
LTN - about 65 miles
LGW - about 70 miles
