Without a doubt, the Lockheed L188 Electra:
First of all, she's a survivor. Despite a tragic weakness in her beginning, this beautiful aircraft continues to serve to this day, even thriving in extreme environments like Alaska (Reeve Aleutian Airways). Second, the military has recognized the value in this graceful bird, to which her toughness was proven in a collision, and whether right or wrong (not the issue here), the crew of the P-3 Orion managed a safe landing despite collision damage that nearly destroyed the aircraft.
Ironic, isn't it, that the Orion has outlived both the DC-8 and 707, the first jets that sealed the fate of the Electra?
