Next Airline To Retire A Plane?

Hey guys I just wanted to know what the next airline might be to retire a plane in their fleet?

SWA will dump all 737's and buy up all the NWA DC-9's it can find.

OS will retire their last MD-87 soon.

All MD´s will be gone than.

WestJet's 737-200s. They recently announced accelerated renewal with 737-600s.

Will AA get rid of there A300 in 2006? Thats only a year away. What will replace them? I not sure about that one.

UA will replace their 737's very soon

AA will have to retire a few fleets within 10 years as some of their planes are getting rather old

Still in denial about NW retiring the DC9-10 from active service. Sniff, sniff.
I will miss that little plane. Knock them for being old, they were reliable and easy to work inside and out. Sure beats a CRJ (flying pencil).

NW is on the verge of retiring all of their DC-9s and DC-10s. They recently ordered additional A330s...that means bye-bye for the DC-10s. I just have a feeling that whoever it is, it will be a US carrier that will be next to retire a type from their fleet. Yea, I'm really sad to see those baby DC-9s go. They were a common sight at STL when TWA was still around, and I flew Sarasota, Florida to St. Louis on a DC-9-10...one of the best flights I've ever been on.

China Airlines just retired their ship B18272. It was sold to a
US based company and stored.

I not sure about NW getting rid of all there DC-9s. They sure do have alot. But is AA getting rid of there A300s in 2006? When do you think AA will get rid of there 757,767 and they cant get rid of there MD-80s yet. To many.
