Your Billionaire Personal Fleet

Tue Jun 14, 2005 3:42 am

Here I go go again...

Money is no object. My aircraft of choice would be, the Bell 609, the Falcon 7X for "regional flights", and a 757 with winglets.

I'd use the Bell 609 for the short flights but could use it for flights up to 700+ nm.

The 7X just because it's a hot aircraft.  cool

The 757 because of it's performance, takeoff and landing. It's big but not unmanageable. And the winglets just make it look awesome!  bigthumbsup

Dream on and tell us your aircraft of choice!
I'm not a real aeronautical engineer, I just play one on Airliners.net.

Hmmm.........
Up to maybe 50 a/c.
20 A319-100
15 A320-200
8 B757-200
2 B767-300ER
5 B777-200ER

On order 12 787-300 (to replace 757's and 767's)
3 777-300ER and 2 777LR.

Name: Lazer Airlines.
Livery: Black at the top of the fuselage, but changes slowly to dark grey, to grey to light grey, to white. (like a shadow) With a line going through the middle straight to the bottom of the a/c to the bottom of the tail. The line will be a different colour for different a/c types. The line will be slightly above the windows, and the word Lazer will be under the windows at a slight slant. the L will be like /______________ under the rest of the word. The word Airlines will follow the word lazer, but smaller.

Anyway, I won't get too far into it!!!!

Haven't thugh where to base this airline, but I won't to base it in the UK, preferably London.
I came. I saw. I conquered

·An Ecureuil, to land everywhere, even on top of mount Everest!
·A small plane for short hops: a Maule (amphibian?)
·Citation X: what a beauty!
·A330-300: another beauty!
·A380-900: for long trips, lots of space
·Eurofighter, for lots of fun: speed and agility! (many other fighters may apply)
·SR-71: I said speed!!
·The Space Shuttle Big grin

I was going to say more, but I thought "wait, you're going too far". But hey, am I not already?  Silly

I'd make a new Embraer ERJ-195 Business jet. It would have extra internal tanks in the cargo compartment, and be outfitted with a small bedroom in back, an entratainment area, small galley and dining/ business table.

Paint it blue on top, white on bottem, faded on the sides, and chrome wings. It would be pimp. Chrome plate the landing gear and wheels as well.  Smile just kidding on the chrome... but you could make a new show... pimp my plane haha.

but serisously, that's the plane I would want, minus the chrome jokes.

I would have an A340-213X for myself. BBJs for my family and F100 for my friends. All in a VIP ultra luxury configuration. Ala SQ first class.

HI

My choice would be

-A Harrier, so I can park in the garden. No problem. And go to the Airport!
-An A319CJ for short distances, where there's only a short rwy!
-An A380 for intercontinental routes, with the jacuzzi of course Big grin I need space!

But I'd love to have a 330 too, and a 777 cut they look cool.
Then a 747 and 767 for my museum would be cool. And finally, an A340-600 so I can play curling, or bowling at 35'000ft!

Cheers, PipoA380

Hmmm. Here's my dream fleet
5 all glass C-210's (short range trips, love the Centurion)
10 G-V's (when I don't feel like traveling in the big guys)
10 BBJ's (738's) (short-medium range)
5 B-777-240LR's (going around the world)
15 787-8's (gotta have one of the new ones)
And I would take a Harrier or two for some fun when I get bored.

Of course all would have custom interiors and they would be painted in the DL Deltaflot and Widget liveries.

Cheers from little BDL

Would only want one, the main criteria being one I can stand up in! That would have to be a custom designed BBJ. The galley would have to be quite functional as even with my billions, I would maintain my passion for cooking my dinner. But then, someone else would clean up.

One example of each of the Boeing and Douglas commercial airplanes would do nicely. Of course, we'd have to build a reproduction of the Boeing 314 and the DC-1 and DC-5.

half a dozen heavily modified A380s, each equipped with two or three operating rooms to provide healthcare in disaster-struck regions

for regions lacking the runways for A380s, a dozen An-124s equipped in a similar way

another dozen C-17s or maybe even C-5s for dropping food and medication from the air

for myself, a de Havilland Comet with extra tanks, an ACJ and an Ecureuil
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
