I like the 737s. Only been on t6he -200 and -200 but its a very nice feeling when you have so much acceleration on take off. Love the roar of the engines as well. (beats the A320's whinning sound  Wink )

OK, now that I got my 707 rant over with, as far as contemporary single aisle aircraft, I have 2. The A321 for comfort in the economy cabin - I loved the old SN A321's... and the 757 for First Class and general power, though in the back on most carriers the 757 is way way way too cramped.

My choice will be 757s. I have a business trip on friday BOG-MDE, a 30 min ride, and I booked it with AV in the right time to be able to get a ride in the 757 (not the very best time, but who cares, my meeting can wait), instead of the usual MD83 and F100:

was very surprised on how wide the seats were on the E190 the first time I got to sit and fly in one.

I just flew on this baby on monday CUN-PTY, and it was an a amazingly comfortable silent ride, loved it:

The newest Embraer E170 is my favourite.

My second choice are the Mad Dogs.

MD's are pure shite. They are old, noisy and nasty. The most comfortable is the A321. Its so quiet, light and long. Its a great plane to be on.

I got to with the 757. Nothing beats takeoff of course, but what a versatile aircraft.

I really hope I get a chance to fly on an AirTran 717, American MD-80, and one of the E-Jets someday. Though I've heard the Mad Dog can be hell,

I'm sure you will, just a matter of time. AA MD-80's are everywhere, you'll find yourself on one someday. The Mad Dogs aren't that bad, as long as you don't sit in the very back. If you are up front it is great. IMO they are also a smoother ride. My favorite narrow body is the MD-90. I'm still waiting to get a chance to fly on a 717.

B757-200 is the only narrow way to fly!

Nothing like a takeoff on a 757. I will be sad the day they get retired from service. I will take a flight out of my way if there is a 757 involved.
Where did everybody go?

Now that's a bit harsh. Clearly some of us would beg to differ.

A319. Love the comfort, and think it's a great looking plane.

Then the 752. No explanation needed.
