Hey everyone, I am just wondering...what are the average age for 747-400 fleets in different airlines? Is there a place where I can get this information?

British Airways?
Cathay Pacific?
United Airlines?
NorthWest?
KLM?
Virgin Atlantic?
South African Airways?
JAL?
Lufthansa?
Qantas?

Thanks everyone! Big grin

Not quite that old yet, but getting there. Combining the 744's with the 742's they are 19.8 years old on average.

Yeah you can look at fleets but when you want to get into specifics then you must pay.

Is the the age that they have had them or the age sense they were produced and delieverd?

Thanks ORDRyan and Trijets so much for your information!

Yes they are new deliveries, ranging from 1994-2003.

Eight of the 744's were delivered in 1989-90. Several are the oldest 744's in service. NW was also the launch customer of the type.
