Trip In Europe

Sun Jul 01, 2007 11:39 pm

Hi guys, I'm looking at doing a trip through Europe flying Prestwick - Shannon - Vienna - Rome - Stockholm - Prestwick and so far I've got £66.20 roughly for all the flights in total but its all on Ryanair. I don't have any problems with that but I would love to try and use a mix of airlines and aircraft instead and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I'm leaving on the 1st sep and arriving back on the 9th sep.

Hi BMED,

here is my flight plan to your desired trip:

PIK - SNN = Ryanair

SNN - VIE = no direct flights between these two cities. Chances to reach Austria via DUB or LON. EI is, too, a low cost airline.

VIE - FCO = Niki. Great chance to try to fly in the new Airbus A319.

CIA - STO = Sterling (ARN) or Ryanair (SKV). Both airlines with Boeing 737. Sterling offers you more to choose. 735, 737 or 738.

STO - PIK = Ryanair.

Hope it help,

Gerard

Thanks for the advice but I went for the ryanair one in the end due to costs but it will still be a great trip. Big trip report with photos for you all. Although someone might have to give my some advice on how to include the photos though.

You could add Stockholm-GRO with FR (738) and GRO-PIK.
At the bus station, buses stop. At the train station, trains stop. At my desk, I have a work station.

If you will be staying in Vienna hopefully you know that FR actually serves Bratislava, Slovakia, which is just 60kms away from Vienna, but keep in mind you have to cross the border! It's a nice city to visit too actually.  Smile
