Which Airline Has The Best Web Site

Hi All

Just reading a few posts today got me thinking. Which Airline has the best web site. This really is the best in terms of look, easy to book flights, check flights etc.. If you took all those things which are important to you.

Mine are

For
UK - BA.COM - Looks good, easy to use all round

USA- Delta - really improved this year, high marks

Globally - Lufthansa

I find the sidebar on the left of CathayPacific.com extremely easy to use...

I find AirTran.com to be the easiest to use in terms of being able to select the flights you want. JetBlue.com is also good in this regard. I hate the sites like Continental that use a confusing graph set-up to try to find you the best fares but without showing the possible times and such.

Hawaiian Airlines' redesigned website is nice looking, though I have never booked a flight through their website:

AA isn tthe easiest, but is a MAJOR improvement of what it used to be.

I always liked Northwest's website. I never have any problems with trying to find something on their website and booking is pretty easy.



I also like AirTran's webiste.

Big fan of Delta's website...everything right there on the front page, easy to change seats, request upgrades, etc. online; calendar for searching for award tickets is great. Only complaint is no searching for partner awards online.

I've found QF & JQ's websites easy to use but so is BA and AC but JAL dont even get me started on them they are so bad

Surprised no one has mentioned WN. I'm a big fan of Southwest.com. Fast loading and easy to navigate, the way all airline websites should be!

Websites are one thing that most (not all!) American carriers do very well. In flight service isn't what it used to be, but the websites, for the most part, are terrific.

Websites I particularly like:
- Delta
- Northwest
- jetBlue
- Skybus (the calendar is handy if you happen to live in Columbus and want to go somewhere on the cheapest dates possible)
- American
- Continental
- Southwest

These ones need improvement for one reason or another
- US Airways (too clunky)
- Alaska (interface needs a facelift)
- Midwest (interface needs a facelift)
- Frontier (booking system needs to change)
- United (website hates people with Star Alliance mileage plans that aren't MileagePlus)

Others are average, or I'm not familiar with them.

Agree. Ugly though. And it doesn't display exact prices but rather ranges for each class of ticket available. I like FL's best because it displays the price for each leg and all the available legs, plus all available connections. The FL site will let you connect through any city where a connection can be made, which is a nice feature. So if you want to avoid ATL, why not go through PHF, BWI, or CAK?

Agreed, that background is sharp. Creates quite a different move than that of the majors.

It's a nice improvement over the relatively liberal design they had last year. Reminds me of B6's now.
