RE: Your Booked Flights For 2008?

Tue Apr 22, 2008 10:28 pm

I already completed one flight:

LAX-AMS-CDG on KL and then CDG-LAX on AF

Booked:

LAX-LHR-LIN on BA (6-15)
MXP-MAD-SVQ on Iberia (6-18)
SVQ-MAD-FCO on Iberia (6-21)
CPH-LHR-LAX on BA (8-29)

There will be another flight or two while I am in Europe for the summer but those will be more spur of the moment.

Could be. We have been told to go out and conquer the Russian market, so there are some other carriers we need to go see, so I might get lucky. Fingers crossed.

You need to! Searching flights would be so much easier if they all showed up in Amadeus, not to mention the ability to book them online through multinational websites. I've been doing a lot of searching recently for a forthcoming trip and so many Russian sites are painful to navigate in most ways! Fingers crossed they'll get you on a 134 too that way.

Quoting WILCO737 (Reply 244):
Quite some lists here! Impressive! And I still don't have any booked flight for 2008

They do show up in Amadeus, at least the vast majority of them do, and most of them provide real-time schedules and availability information. They may not all be ticketable though, it depends on where you are. Try wideroe.no

Yep.

Been using Amadeus to search for flights on random domestic Russian routes. Pretty good. Could get on, say, the IL6.  Wink Alas, a good number of routes, probably due to distance or lack of competition or both, are expensive. Still, there are some bargains, mainly on routes within a couple hour radius of MOW.

So far I've flown on the TU5 (SOF-LHR) and IL9 (SVO-DEL).

Just booked the following:

2/9: BHD-IOM = NM = L4T? (only paid £15.99 incl card fee and taxes)
2/9: IOM-LBA = NM = SWM?

Really hope I manage to get on both the L4T and SWM.

Haven't yet booked my flight to BHD, but it'll probably (and unfortunately) be EMA-BHD with FR. Still, I'll be living 20 mins from EMA come Sept, so at least it'll be hassle-free to get to the airport. And it'll be cheap, at about £10.99 incl card fees and taxes, unless FR offers a 1p incl tax deal. We'll see.

So, for now:

You sure do a lot of flying  Cool You've got lots of airlines to choose from over there... here in Australia QF, JQ, DJ & TT are the only choices, plus the regionals Rex, Skywest, QFLink etc. Can't wait to fly when I want, where I want... if i've got the money.
