Hopefully later in 2008 if parents take trip to ELM for family:

MCO-EWR or MCO-PHL I guess who has the cheapest fare we'll be flying on.
EWR-ITH PHL-ELM

In 09 for sure:

MIA-Belize on AA? for study Abroad
Belize-MIA

I hope to make additional flights but with a new family member coming in, I have to make sacrifices and flying on a/c is one of them.

August is shaping up to be busy:

BOS-MSP 3x over the next month (moving to the Mpls/St. Paul area in the next month)
MHT-LAS in late August

Out of MSP, I'll probably be doing a decent bit of travel still - most likely a monthly MSP-LAS turn and then some extra trips. Probably going to go to TLH in September and GSO in November. Also going to BOS in November and December.

At this rate, I will make Gold on Delta this month and Platinum by the end of the year. Will be nice to finally be a Platinum.

13.08.08 LGA-ORD UA 757
13.08.08 ORD-DEN UA 763
17.08.08 DEN-LGA UA 320

Not really looking forward to the flights as I have yet to have a good experience on UA, but hey, anything is possible...

Planned but not confirmed yet
10.10.08 BOS-SJU-AXA AA
14.10.08 AXA-SJU-BOS AA

or, with the same dates,

BOS-MIA-BGI and back.

Might go to Hawai'i in December. Planning on being in Arizona in January to run a marathon for my birthday (great way to celebrate a birthday) and then definitely a trip in March. The other decently planned trip is for late July 2009:
JFK-LHR-JNB-LVI-JNB-LHR-HKG-HKT-NRT-JFK

But this is far from a sure thing.

SYD-OOL

Both ways with Virgin Blue on August 26th, just for some fun. I cant believe that the fare of $65 includes over $45 in fees and Taxes and the airfare alone is just $19! the return cost $20 more. I guess they are not making any Money off me that day!
I so want to fly on SCAT one day!

Unfortunately, no private trips planned for either 2008 or 2009 yet, and considering the workload at the moment, there's not going to be any until at least mid 2009...  Sad

For business, it'll continue to be the semi-endless stream of flights to ZRH, VIE and LHR, so, unfortunately, nothing special in there.

Nothing left for 2008 except for driving to Indy *yawn*

Though for 2009:

March
DTW-DCA-DTW: NW A319/A320 most likely

April
DTW-MEM: Northwest

Summer:
DTW-AMS-CPH and return: KL 772 and KL 737

On top of all this, I might take a long weekend to CLT to visit my aunt. I hope to get on an E-Jet when heading down there.

10.10.08 BOS-SJU-AXA AA
14.10.08 AXA-SJU-BOS AA

10.10.08 BOS-LGA ERD

10.10.08 SJU-AXA AT7
14.10.08 AXA-SJU AT7
14.10.08 SJU-BOS 752

Two new possibilities for legal conferences:

10 Dec 08 BOS-CAN
20 Dec 08 CAN-BOS
If I have a say in how I fly it'll be BOS-JFK-NRT-CAN and CAN-NRT-ORD-BOS on oneworld carriers

02 April 09 BOS-VIE
11 April 09 VIE-BOS

But we shall know for sure by early September for CAN and by early October for VIE.

Driving to another conference in Montreal next month and one in Albany in October, then hopefully get to fly back to Texas for Thanksgiving.

Probably not flying anywhere in 2008 unfortunately.  Sad Maybe in 2009 fly SY to somewhere in Florida (PIE, MIA, RSW, etc.) or maybe even Mexico or the Caribbean.

Current plans:

JFK-SLC DL 738
SLC-MSP DL CR9

November/Thanksgiving
MSP-JFK NW 320

Plenty more flights to book though - probably going to LAS 2-3 more times this year, SAN or LAX once, Florida once and another trip to Boston. If I need a mileage run for Platinum, I will add that as well.

I have the usual Tucson-Sacramento flights as in past years for meetings in Napa and family visits in Stockton. August-October-November-December-February (2X) March-April-May-June and July.
I am looking into visiting Quito, Ecuador in July. The options are from MIA on AA, Continental through Houston and DL through Atlanta. I am more interested in flying on US airlines. COPA has service from LAX at a decent price. Avianca and LAN are much more expensive.

01.09.2008 ... NQY-SBK ... Isles of Scilly Skybus ... DHC6-300/BN Islander

Well after over four hours sat in the terminal at NQY with the flight 'indefinately delayed' it was eventually cancelled, and I was offered a ferry instead  grumpy  I'm going back tomorrow for another go, hopefully with better weather than today.

Quoting Leskova (Reply 69):
For business, it'll continue to be the semi-endless stream of flights to ZRH, VIE and LHR, so, unfortunately, nothing special in there.

Tomorrow, I'm off to ZRH, today in a week I'll be flying to VIE - both same-day returns. And I'll be back to ZRH again in about two/three weeks time, just as I will be there again on the weekend of the 29th.

Unfortunately, all business-related - still nothing in terms of private flights anywhere in sight.
Smile - it confuses people!
