How Far Are We From Seeing A Triple Decker?

Wed Jul 23, 2008 10:55 pm

With the A380 flying now, I was thinking, when will we see a triple deck airliner hit the skies? I know it will be so time from now, but when do you see an A/C builder, introducing a true triple decker with a giant baggage compartment under all three decks? Also, who you think would build it, Boeing, Airbus or another A/C builder?

I know there been other post about triple deck airliners, but I just wanted to post mine.  Smile

I would say never at first but who ever thought we would see a double decker!

Well something that big would have to have massive engines so would be very expensive to run/fuel but i suppose that would be offset by the passenger numbers.

It already exist with the 748 except the airlines did not opt for the option of having suites in the cargo hold!
