Air Berlin / LTU From DUS To MIA

Fri Aug 15, 2008 7:30 pm

Hi, Im planning a trip around last week of august (28.08.) from DUS to MIA in C. I've checked on worldticketcenter and wow there fares are low in C compared to other carriers...it is around 1300,- Euros vat incl. Now my questions, what equipment is flying from DUS to MIA? Is it an Air Berlin aircraft or LTU? Anyone some experience in flying with them? What is there C class looks like?
Anyway, thanks for your help

Greetings

It is an A330, in airberlin colors but operated by LTU crew.

The premium class is so cheap because it really isn't a true C product. It is more like a Y+ product with C service (food, etc.).

Y is horrible on AB/LT. Great F/A's, but it is worth the extra for C/Y+. It's an A330-300.

Cool! Have fun! D-AERQ was my first A333 as well. The seatspace compared to AF is horrrible, I've never flown KL.

Thx  Wink ya Im really looking forward to fly with this bird. Well, I've just checked out AB website and it shows the seats in C well they don't look that bad at all...Ive flown Martinair's Bigseats a few years ago from AMS to MIA and I think this AB seats in C looks much better at least from their pics shown on the site. They claim a seat pitch of 137 cm*, a tilt angle of up to 155o* and a comfortable seat width of 49 cm and in some aircraft even 157 cm and seats with a tilt angle of 165 °!!! Just asking myself which aircraft is equipped with whatfor configuration, that isnt indicated on the website.

The Miami route uses the more premium configuration. The leisure routes to the Caribbean, Africa, etc. have the more basic premium product.

Their business class to FLA is quite comfortable. I think you'll find it's a very good value.
