Five Hours In Phoenix, What To Do?

Thu Sep 18, 2008 1:41 pm

Hello,
I am planning a mileage run from EWR to PHX and I will have a five hours layover in PHX.
Thinking of going outside the airport.
What to do from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.?
I was thinking either some museum, or a nice lunch or a spa visit.
I will have no car so it will be taxi, I suppose.
Anybody who can provide me with some recommendations, please?
Thank you very much!

hmmm I was there all day this summer and decided in the heat of the day that the best bet would be to go to the Sheraton by the airport.(not many hotels offer day rates, but they had good rates) dont let the pictures in the airport deceive you, the hotel is really nice with comfortable and new rooms as well as a nice outdoor pool, spa and bar. If you just want to relax then I'd suggest going to Sheraton and relaxing.
