Question On Expedia/BA Booking

Hi.

I am in a few days going to book a ticket from Expedia rather than directly from BAs website because Expedia offer cheaper tickets than BA on the exactly same route/dates. However I wonder if I will be able to use Manage my Booking at BA.com even if I book the tickets from Expedia. Will I get a booking number that I can use on BA.com??

You should do but I highly doubt you will be able to use many of the feature's on "manage my booking" like the ability to change flight date's or upgrade.

Okay, but will I be able to check in only 24hrs before my flights and chose seats??

To book through Expedia is a few hundred dollars cheaper than to book directly from BA.com. I find that a bit funny actually.

Yes you will be able to check in online and choose a seat 24 hour's before.

I know BA.com has a "price promise" scheme where they guarantee you will not find a cheaper price on any other UK website.

From BA's website-

We promise that if you find exactly the same BA flight cheaper on another UK website we'll refund the difference.

I assume you are booking from An international Expedia site.

Some days ago I had the same situation. But when I wanted to book the flight finally, expedia said >sorry, the fare is no longer available<

I checked other websites like orbitz and opodo, but they all show the BA fares (orbitz with small divergences due to exchange rates).

Last week I ended up booking on BA's homepage.

Cheers,
Stefan

Ouch, hope it wont be so with me too. I have found on expedia a ticket to LAX from ARN with BA for $1149. I will probably book it today. I really hope it will be available
