Continental BusinessFirst 764 Vs. 752

Tue Nov 11, 2008 12:43 am

I'm booking a flight on Continental, EWR-CDG, for the fall of 2009 and was wondering which seat/cabin is better, the 767-400 or the 757-200. From what I understand the new bizfirst seats won't be making it either of these planes any time soon so which plane do you think I have a better chance of having a good experience on? Any insight from anyone who is in the know is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Kind of a tough question as I find both very nice. On the B764 you get a 21" wide seat and 2 aisles while on the B752 you a single aisle and a seat that is 20" wide, both recline the same with same pitch.

The B752 has the AVOD system and standard power plugs and the B764 IIRC has power but you have to use the adapter.

Either way your experience on CO BizFirst should be nothing short of wonderful. Guess it comes down to in my mind what you prefer, dual or single aisle and an inch more of less of seat width.

The CO website has all the information on their aircraft in the in-flight drop down list. Have fun and enjoy CO.

One other consideration -- virtually no chance of an unexpected fuel stop on the 767.

Jump at the 767 and take the middle seat all on your own.

Great service and great food.
