If you wanna be a freight dawg, there's quite a few airlines still flying the 727. Locally in the US, there's Capital Cargo International, FedEx, and Amerijet. (I didn't count DHL as they're saying b'bye soon.)

Given a choice, I'd MUCH rather fly in a VC-10!

You could become a thoroughbred racehorse groom and fly around in Kalitta's dedicated 727:

Play for the Miami Heat basketball squadron. They have a custom 727. Really nice inside.

I am not sure if they still use them in regular passenger service, but I would enquire with First Air in Canada. Keep in mind this is a Northern Airline (which flies up to the Arctic Circle), so if you want to do a flight at this time of year, be ready for anything from mild late fall conditions to frigid middle of winter conditions. Could be a really amazing trip, although the chances of seeing a traditional igloo is slim at best...At least you could start from "southern Canada": Montreal, Quebec (rich french history, one of the oldest cities in North America & definitely a World Class city) or Ottawa, Ontario (our nations' capital) or Edmonton, Alberta (ummmm....one of the world's largest malls: West Edmonton Mall- just don't go for the shopping... go to the HUGE indoor water park, or seperate amusement park)

This aircraft operates scheduled passenger services in Ecuador, I flew on it January this year. At that time it was on the UIO-GYE-GPS-GYE-UIO service. Apparently it is supposed to remain with Aerogal for a bit longer. Hope that helps.

Firstair still flies C-GXFA...Not only a B727-200 but the only B727-200 combi...It flies out of either YOW or YUL depending on the schedule.

Apart from First Air and Aerogal, TAME of Ecuador still have some 727s although their days are numbered as now they get more A-320s.
In Bolivia Aerosur has about 6 flying. LAB might return to the skies as well, they are working to get some 727s back in the air.
In Iran, both Iran Air and Iran Aseman have them
In South Africa, Inter Air flies 727s to some mid African countries
In Nigeria, Chanchangi still has one or two on their domestic routes
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Quoting Greasespot (Reply 7):
t flies out of either YOW or YUL depending on the schedule.

It usually does the YUL-YFB run 3 times a week. It also does YOW-YFB when the 732 goes mech.

Quoting Rikkus67 (Reply 5):
if you want to do a flight at this time of year, be ready for anything from mild late fall conditions to frigid middle of winter conditions.

Todays weather -26 with a windchill of -41. Not enough snow for an igloo right now though.
