Hey folks-
Quick question for you all.
Back in June of last year, I booked an award ticket on US
MKE-
CHS for August of last year. It ended up that my plans changed, but instead of changing the award reservation, I booked a new trip on
FL.
I called about two weeks before the trip to reschedule the award ticket. At that point in time, US policy allowed you to change dates (but not cities) without a fee as long as the award inventory was available for the new dates requested. I did so. For next month.
My routing was
MKE-
PHL-
CHS and
CHS-
PHL-
MKE. In between the time that I changed the ticket in August and now, the flight schedule seems to have changed on the return so that I now have six minutes of connection time at
PHL. I got no notification of this. I simply noticed it when I logged into my
DM account.
My question is this:. Would US change dates without a fee (a fee for changing dates has since been implemented)? And/or if I should show up to
CHS as scheduled and misconnect, would I be entitled to anything? It should be noted that the
PHL-
MKE segment is the last of the day.
